A New Season for a Familiar Place

Avila Market has been part of the Avila Beach experience for years.

For many people, it has been a stop before the sand, a place to grab something quick, or a familiar corner in the middle of town. Like many long-standing places, it has had different seasons — some better than others.

This next chapter is about bringing care into the building.

We’re focused on creating a market that feels welcoming, useful, clean, and full of life. A place where locals feel seen, visitors feel taken care of, and families can find what they need without overthinking it.

Our vision is to combine the ease of a beach market with the quality of a thoughtful café: good coffee, fresh food, curated essentials, and genuine hospitality.

Founder Note

Six years ago, I stepped into Avila Market and saw possibility.

I saw a place with history, location, and energy. I remember thinking that one day, it could be something special — a market with better coffee, better food, and a stronger sense of hospitality.

Today, that vision is beginning to take shape.

There is a lot of work ahead. Rebuilding trust, improving the guest experience, refining the food, cleaning up the market, and creating a new rhythm will take time. But the goal is simple: to BECOME A COASTAL DESTINATION

A place to gather.
A place to stop in before the beach.
A place that feels generous, useful, and alive.

We’re grateful for the chance to begin this new chapter.
